Manage Files has special folders for three tools: Chat, Student Presentations, and Whiteboard. Chat logs, Whiteboard content, and Student Presentation files uploaded by your students, are automatically saved in each of these special folders. Chat Folder | Top The Chat folder stores the logs for each chat room. Although you can view and edit the logs, we recommend that you do not alter or rename them in WebCT. The logs are saved in text format, which you can zip and download to your computer. Note: No logs are kept for General Chat and private messages. Warning: Renaming or deleting the Chat folder, or its subfolders, prevents the Chat tool from accessing the Chat logs. Student Presentations Folder | Top The Student Presentations folder stores files that students upload for Student Presentations. The subfolders correspond to the the names of presentation groups. You can view these files from the WebCT server, or zip and download them to your computer. Warning: Renaming or deleting the Student Presentations folder, or its subfolders, prevents students from accessing their files. Whiteboard Folder | Top The Whiteboard folder stores any content that you save from Whiteboard sessions and image files that you upload from your computer. You can upload these files to Whiteboard each time you want to use them. Warning: Renaming or deleting the Whiteboard folder prevents the Whiteboard tool from accessing the image files. |
