Moving a message to a
different folder | Top
There are four
default folders: All, Inbox,
Outbox, and Draft.
To add a folder, see Adding a folder.
- From the Mail Folders
table, click the folder that contains the message that you want to move.
The Mail Messages screen appears.
- Click Manage Messages. The Manage
Messages screen appears.
- Select Move to
the following folder and choose the folder from the drop-down list.
- From the bottom of the screen, select
the message(s) that you want to move. Click Go.
- A confirmation message appears. Click
OK.
Deleting a message

- From the Mail Folders
table, click the folder that contains the message that you want to delete.
The Mail Messages screen appears.
- Click
Manage Messages. The Manage Messages screen
appears.
- Select Delete the
selected messages.
- From the bottom of the screen, select
the message(s) to delete. Click Go.
Deleting all messages
in a folder | Top
- From the Mail Folders
table, click the folder from which you want to delete all messages.
The Mail Messages screen appears.
- Click Manage
Messages. The Manage Messages screen appears.
- Under Delete all messages,
select Delete
all messages from folder
and, from the drop-down
list, select a folder.
- Click
Go. A warning message appears.
Warning: All messages in this folder, including
ones not displayed on the screen, will be deleted.
- Click OK.
All messages in the folder are deleted.
Forwarding mail to an external
email account | Top
As you receive WebCT mail messages, they can be forwarded to an external
email account.
Note: Depending on administrator settings,
this feature may not be available to you.
- From the Mail Folders table, click Message
Settings. The Message Settings screen
appears.
- Under Mail Forwarding, select
Forward my mail to and type the email address that you would
like your messages forwarded to.
- Click Go. All WebCT mail messages
will now be forwarded, as you receive them, to this external email address.
Setting the number of threads
to display per page
- From the Mail Folders table, click Message
Settings. The Message Settings screen
appears.
- Under Number of threads to display per page,
make your selection:
- To specify a certain number of threads per page, select the first
option, Display (textbox) threads per page,
and enter a number in the text box.
- To display all messages on the same page, select Display
all threads at once.
- Click Go to make changes
take effect.
- Click Mail to return to the page displaying
mail folders.
Length of subject in Message Listing
- From the Mail Folders table, click Message
Settings. The Message Settings screen
appears.
- Under Length of subject in Message Listing,
make your selection:
- To specify a limit to the number of characters displayed, select
the first option, Display (textbox) characters
of subject, and enter a number in the text box.
- To display the full subject, select Display
whole subject.
- Click Go to make changes
take effect.
- Click Mail to return to the page displaying
mail folders.
